Louisiana gets a lot of hurricanes, as history has proven. After hurricane Katrina hit, Doug Travis lost his house. But his insurance company covered the rebuilding of his house, porch, yard and everything but the pool. It was an improvement made after the policy was put in place and no one ever bothered to update the policy. So instead of wasting another $35,000 on an in-ground pool, Doug dug a hole, ordered a lap pool from us, and even covered it to keep it warm and clean year round.

Simon, I am very happy with the pool overall and with your company’s help and support. As you can see, we had to cover it because of all the oak trees nearby. My wife and I used all winter long and with pool covered, the water is 82 degrees while the outside temperature is 50 degrees. If a hurricane comes, I will simply roll the plastic up before the storm.
